Banten TV

Banten TV is the first local television station in Serang city as the capital town of Banten Province. Banten TV began on-air since August 28, 2006 which then set as the official birthday of the station.

At present the total broadcast hour is already 18 hours a day, broadcasted operation hours will be increased soon. Along with the increase in broadcasting hours, an improvement also being continued, both the quality and materials for broadcast.

As a local TV station, Banten TV is focuses in program information, education and entertainment on the needs and interests of the viewer in the region. Programs that broadcasted are more emphasis on the local nuances that involve the audience as much as possible such as; interactive programs and off air activities to strengthen the penetration of the community.

Segment of the audience is more to the C1, C2, D and E classes cause the majority of viewers in the region is more classified as middle-down classes even though the middle up group would also play a role.

Banten TV viewers have a unique characteristic which is : religious, high loyalty to the cultural, dynamic, open to foreign culture and have a high solidarity bases, that is why in making programs Banten TV will involve the community as participants.
